ColorMag supports showing the News Ticker in the Header area. It helps users continuously stream breaking news without constantly refreshing the website. ColorMag allows different ways of customizing the News Ticker with the option listed below:
Enable #
Under Breaking News, toggle the option over the right area to Enable the Breaking News section in the Header area.
Position #
By default, the Breaking News appears at the Header Top Bar. However, ColorMag allows you to display Breaking News in two different areas of the site. The options are listed below: (Available in ColorMag Pro)
- Header: It displays the Breaking News section in Header Top Bar.
- Below Navigation: It displays the Breaking News section below the Primary Menu.
Filter #
The filter option allows you to choose which type of news to appear in the Breaking News section.(Available in ColorMag Pro)
- Latest Posts: It allows you to show the newest/latest posts from your site.
- Category: It allows showing the posts from a specific category only.
Title #
The option allows you to change the default Breaking news title. The default title is the Latest, which can be changed to your site requirement. (Available in ColorMag Pro)
Animation #
It helps you customize how the breaking news ticker appears, including the style, duration, and speed. (Available in ColorMag Pro)
- Animation Style: It allows you to choose the style the news gets displayed, i.e.,s up or down.
- Animation Duration: It sets the duration of the time the news ticker displays.
- Transition Speed: It sets the duration of the time the news switches from one to another news.
Typography #
The Typography option lets you set the Breaking News Section’s Font Family, Weight, and Font Size. It comes with the following two options: (Available in ColorMag Pro)
- Label Typography: It allows you to set the typography option for the breaking news Label area.
- Content Typography: It allows you to set the typography option for the breaking news Content area.
