Location: Appearance → Customize → Header & Navigation → Site Identity
The Site Identity option allows you to customize the site’s Site Logo, Title, Tagline, etc. These are visible on all pages and posts. Moreover, it helps the users be aware of the website and brand they interact with.
Under the Site Identity, you get the following options listed from where you can add the Logo, Title, and other necessary elements.
Site Logo #
ColorMag allows adding both the Normal and Retina Logo. For the normal logo, select a logo image from the Media Library and upload it to your site.
Retina Logo – Retina Logo refers to the high-definition logo designed to display well in high-resolution devices, i.e., Apple devices. While uploading the Retina Logo, make sure to upload 2X times the size of the normal logo to prevent the logo look blurry on retina devices. [Available in ColorMag Pro]
Height – You can set the Height of the logo with the slider available. This will set the Height of the logo and doesn’t change the width. [Available in ColorMag Pro]
Site Icon #
The Site Icon is a small unique icon that appears in the tab of the browser’s tab bookmarks bars. From the option available within the theme, you can upload the site icon. The recommended size for a favicon is 512 pixels.
Site Title #
The Site Title is usually the name of the website or business that appears in the header area at the top of the site. It helps visitors quickly identify what the website is about. ColorMag provides the option to add the Site Title and comes with the following options:
- Site Title – Add the appropriate Site Title that best suits your web/business site.
- Enable – Toggle the option to the right side, displaying the site title in the header area.
- Color – Choose the appropriate Text Color for the site title. [Available in ColorMag Pro]
- Typography – It controls the site title typography option, such as Font Family and Font Size. [Available in ColorMag Pro]
Site Tagline #
The Site Tagline is a short statement that describes the site title and provides a brief description of the website. It is usually displayed near the site title on the website’s header area. ColorMag provides the option to add the Site Tagline and comes with the following options:
- Site Title – Add the appropriate Site Tagline that best suits your web/business site.
- Enable – Toggle the option to the right side, which will display the site tagline in the header area.
- Colors – Choose the appropriate Text Color for the site tagline. [Available in ColorMag Pro]
- Typography – It controls the site tagline typography option, such as Font Family and Font Size. [Available in ColorMag Pro]
