Don’t leave the URL field of Custom Menu Item empty

Himalayas is primarily a one page theme. And hence it offers various widgets where you can insert the Section ID, this Section ID can later be added to Custom Menu links. So when the menu item is clicked, it scrolls to that very section of the page.

Sometimes you may add the Custom Menu links but leave the URL field empty which generates error and disfigures the design of the site, so please add ‘#‘ instead of leaving the field empty to avoid the error.

Another point to remember here is that the Section ID cannot have space in between them so use ‘–‘ or ‘_‘ instead of the space. For example if you want to give the section ID contact us then you should instead use contact_us or contact-us. And similarly in the menu URL field.
