How to set a featured image to a page/post

Most of our themes displays pages or posts through various widgets in the form of Service,Slider,Testimonial etc.
These widgets generally displays the featured image and content of the page/post.

So,lets get along with setting up a featured image of a page or post.The process for setting up a featured image for post or a page is similar so here we will be discussing for the page.

Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. From the WP Dashboard,goto Pages->All Pages.
   

   You can also add a new page and add featured image to it.

2. Now select a page that you want to add featured image to and to the bottom right corner you can see feature image section
3. Click on the Set Featured Image and then select an existing image from the library or upload a new image
4. Now click on Publish or Update and you are ready to go.

You can carry out the same procedure for the posts too.
