Getting started with the Spacious theme is quite easy and quick. You can follow the methods below for installing the Spacious theme and importing the demo.
Via Spacious Page #
- Go to ThemeGrill Spacious Page
- Click on Download Now button, which will redirect to the pricing page
- Upon scrolling the page, click the Download Free Version button to download the Spacious zip file
- Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Themes and click on Add New
- Click on Upload Theme > Choose File
- Choose the Spacious theme zip file from your local computer
- Click on Install Now to start installing
- Click on the Activate button to make the theme work on your site
Via WordPress Dashboard #
- From your WordPress Dashboard, navigate to Appearance > Themes and click on Add New
- Search for – Spacious
- Click on Install to run the installation
- Click on the Activate button to make the theme work on your site
Import Demos #
After installing the Spacious theme successfully on your site, you can import the demo. If you do not want to import the demo, you can skip the part and start building your site. However, for importing the demo, you can follow the steps below:
- Click on Get Started with Spacious button, which appears after activating the Spacious theme. It activates the ThemeGrill Demo Importer Plugin.
- On the demo list page, select the appropriate demo that best suits your site.
- Hover over the demo and click on Import to import the demo to your website.
Importing the demo will take a few minutes. Once the demo is imported successfully, you can edit and design the site. You can follow the guideline for editing the imported demo How to Edit Imported Demo Site?
